| Sushma Foundation, was established to augment the vision of the founding members of Sushma Buildtech Limited in the social responsibility sphere. The Sushma Foundation spearheads efforts in community welfare activities launched by the group. Amongst other initiatives, the Sushma Foundation aims at harnessing the potential for sustainable development, upliftment of the underprivileged and above all building awareness of critical environmental issues along with a tangible on-ground activities for increasing green cover. A brief description of some of our efforts are listed below:
Go Green Mantra
Following the Go Green Mantra, we at SUSHMA, understand our responsibility of creating environment friendly infrastructure. Due emphasis is given to the natural lighting in all our architectural designs, both commercial and residential spaces. This reduces the power cost and makes better utilization of natural resources. The landscaping is not just an endeavor to beautify the place but also supplements the ecosystem. As an organization committed to the society, we at SUSHMA Foundation try to give back to the community that has given us their trust and support.
Blood Donation Camp
On 14th July, 2011 SUSHMA Group under its CSR SUSHMA Foundation organised a blood donation camp with the Rotary Blood Bank Society Resource Centre at SUSHMA Elite Cross, Zirakpur. More than 200 enthusiastic blood donors participated in this noble act for which they were awarded. In a humble way these men and women did their part to help an individual in need.
Plantation Drive
Our future is in our hands. It is we who can change it, one plant at a time. And because of that a plantation drive with more than 200 plants was carried out by SUSHMA, where chief guest Mr. N K Sharma, President Municipal Corporation inaugurated the drive by planting trees with his own hands. The drive also saw other individuals and SUSHMA employees plant trees in the vicinity. The aim of the drive was not just to have a green view near the vicinity, but have a pollution free environment by planting trees and helping them grow for a greener and brighter tomorrow.
International Daughter’s Day
She is life... an effort made to save girl child
On the occasion of International Daughter’s Day, SUSHMA Foundation in association with Ishita foundation created awareness about the important of eradicating female foeticide by educating large number of students from various schools. The event was carried out in and around the Tri-City where several banners were displayed spreading the importance of the girl child. The response was for this was overwhelming.
